But what about doujin about characters who are gay, or even doujin with no romance at all? I mean, saying you hate all doujinshi because you don't like shipping straight characters in gay romance is kind of overly broad.
Anyway, I don't really like it either, but for me it's more because I loath the whole "gay for you" thing, and it's used pretty heavily in that context. If I'm reading manga with LGBT romance, I want them to actually be attracted to their partner's gender in general, otherwise I'm really never going to buy their relationship.

Obviously, I'm just prompting you to have a better command of the English language.

I think the point of a lot of dj is to fulfill a fantasy, the what if. However I pretty much agree. Sometimes the idea of making a deep friendship a romance cheapens the friendship. Sherlock...some others. If the author clearly wants to imply romance, but the Manga isn't published in that kind of magezine, or by that kind of publisher then that's ok. Komatta tiki ni wa Hoshi...well the author states that you are meant to believe that they wind up together, so i feel like that is an OK ship lol...but the author writes the characters with that in mind, so i don't feel like it disrespects the characters. But I totally get where you are coming from. I maybe don't hate dj but I'm not always a huge fan.

You talking about anime characters who are straight then drawn in a doujin as a gay person? I personally like doujins. I imagine it as parallel world where that certain character was actually gay instead. (So a fiction within a fiction lol) BUT of course, I keep the doujins completely disconnected from the canon character. For instance I enjoy reading kageyama x hinata from haikyuu but when I actually do watch the anime, I don't fangirl every time the duo does a quick shot. I also read Kagami x kuroko from kuroko no basket but when I watch the anime, I'm more entertained by the game and don't focus the duo in a romantic way, but more of teammates. But I do respect your opinions though. People dislike certain things and that's understandable.

For me I found it upsetting that for some reason and this is gay or straight that people can't seem to accept that platonic love is just as strong as romantic love. I mean seriously if you're not willing to stand up for your friend and support them and maybe even die for them, then you really need to look into your friendships cuz you're doing something wrong.
But I see over and over again, oh god I ship them soooo hard! What? Why? Why can't they just be awesome friends? Why can't you ship friendship that hard? I seriously think that part of its that I'm aromantic, so romance means nothing to me on the best of days. But I'll say it again and again platonic love is not less than romantic love.
Can't think of how many TV shows have been absolutely ruined for me by having the two main characters who are great friends suddenly end up in relationships and married and just ruins everything...

i am a huge fan of doujin .basically the whole dj things are based on fantasy and made for that .i have a huge aokaga obsession have read all of their doujin because i like the feel between them it sexy and hot and makes me want more people who read doujin maybe with diffeent couple it might be like that for them too .and i totally understand that yous dont like it its okay not to like it it just ruins straight characters for you. but doujin are madw for those fujoshi's who like to ship certain characters .i dont find anything wrong with that let them ship their charcaters even if they want to unless they are pushing their ship down your throats like you have to like them too or else we wont forgive you.its okay not to like doujin and its okay to for people to like them if thats make them happy.they might like it because tbey might see some spark between their fav characters or want to see some action between them and doujin fulfil that .
no those who create them does not have zero respect for them they just do it because they like to se their fav character together .if they dont have respect for it they might not have worked their ass of for a doujin just to show their disrespect for a character.they do it because they love the character.i like kagami taiga he is my fav in knb along with daiki i just love how well tbey compliment each other when potrayed in a doujin its simply wonderful.

For me I'm a bit obsessed with parrel universes so I find some of the concepts in dj intresting but not always executed well. I have found that the best ones are often self published doujinshi by the original author or team member with an alternative scenario or event.
I tend to read more for the story/art than for who is being shipped. I have found I tend to read fanfic dj if the art/story looks good to me. I sometimes use the comments to filter what to read.
But for the fan fiction di (for it to be good for me) it has to set up the setting correctly and if there is any major changes in a characters personality these have to be explained/explored or else I feel adrift. (and I agree that it doesn't do the original justice if done poorly) There are very few that do this well, so I tend to dip in and out of the fanfic ones and read more of the original dj.
I may be wrong, because of my limited contact with the term, but my understanding of the term fujoshi is that they ship male pairings even if the pair is straight. (I have only come accross the term on male paired fanfic in manga, and usally the pair is straight. It is all about the characters/ authors fantasising). So that type of pairing might be what is expected. But personally I find it difficult to accept major changes in character unless developed properly.
i think i am the only fujoshi who NEVER SHIP ANY STRAIGHT GUYS TOGETHER.i i hate all doujinshi and i feel like those who create them have ZERO respect for the characters.
-there is a very thick line between friendship and love ,and i really would love if more appreciate that
