Same... when I was a child, I was the over-achiever-can-do-anything-eldest-child to my parents so they tend to compare me with other children even though I worked so hard to get
the high scores. But one day, I kinda broke down and lost my way to the point I almost lost my scholarship.. I guess my parents realized that I’m not perfect and they stopped comparing. (⌒▽⌒)
Makoto's story really hit me hard i even cried... he is relatable to me since my mother compares me to my siblings and friends too but not as much as his mother (only compares me when i failed at something, not everyday type like makoto's) but it still hurts when they make you feel that you are not enough and then suddenly, all your hardwork is nothing/meaningless just because you failed..
And the bird is adorable! At first i kinda hate it but at the end the bird really likes makoto and protective of him too~
