Plus, there are tons of yaoi mangas with more 'stockholmish' and unrealistic plots, and much more abusive partners ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ This story is not so bad in comparison, trust me...
Um, I know...? Because I've read them too. I don't make distinctions. Because while those may be worse, they are only worse in one way. And this is worse in only one way over those. Stockholm syndrome doesn't bother me. The victim is the victim, after all. The only one entirely responsible is the seme. He may protect the mountain god but that isn't one of the problems I have with him. The problems I have with him is the FACT I have never seen him show regret for what he did. Another is that he obviously believes that he is right to to do all the things he has done and that he is the persecuted one. That is clichéd as well as unrealistic, the cliche, in this instance, being what is driving me away. After all, I like basic settings to be realistic and narrative and plot to be unrealistic. T.
