Yes, mangago uploads and profits off of manga without the permission of publishers or the authors that created them. There are very few things uploaded to this site with permission (I've only seen 3). What mangago does is considered copyright infringement ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copyright_infringement). Lezhin actually has a notice at the top of their chapters stating that unauthorized distribution is illegal. However this is not uncommon amoung all forms of media , including movies, music, books, anime, ect.
In terms of if it's right or wrong, I'll let you decide on that.

There are many illegal things that are going on that no one gets arrested for.
Even if this site wasn't illegal (which it is), the copious amount of underaged readers on here is already a good enough reason for the site to be taken down. I don't actually know why it hasn't been yet, but I am thankful or else I would have to go elsewhere to read manga.
I would be really sad if this site would be taken down. this is the only manga site i know where most users are fujoshi/fudanshi and bl is the mainstream ┗( T﹏T )┛

Is this site illegal or what, cuz i can see comments that some manhwa from lezhin; like wolf in the house, published here is illegal and unfair. Just to make things clear. Thank you
