My uncle and aut got married this week-end for financial reasons after more than 30 years together. My parents got divorced after 25 years.
I think marriage is about personal feelings. I want to find someone to spend my life with, but I don't think I will ever get married. Marriage does not equal having a happy family.
And about kids just like was said, if you don't like them, don't get them.
If you try to force your ideal of happiness on someone and make them have kids when they don't want them, it could end with child neglect.
There is nothing wrong with the way you feel. You will find and make your own happiness in your own way. It's not important to have a happiness that looks like someone else's. It's more important to feel that happiness inside yourself no matter what that happiness may be. I wish you all the happiness life has to offer and a smidge more.
