we're doing magazine-length chapters. Even though we're giving you the Tankoubon, we're following the chapters as they were originally presented here. sorry for the shortness of the chapters. a lot of you guys wish for longer chapters. We're doing the best we can.
I wasn't complaying with you translators, it's just that we are nowadays used to chapter of 30-40 pages so in comparison Deadlock chapters look so short :D! But thank you for your effort, I had lost hope in seeing this manga completed and you guys are doing an awesome job!

How many volumes of the manga are there? And is the author still making it? I want more!!!
the author is finished, but the artist is still drawing the final chapters of Deadlock for the magazine. so far there's 2 volumes of the Tankooubon, covering chapter 1-17. There's no third volume yet. Once we have gone through volume 1 and 2, we will be changing over and posting the rest of the chapters 18-25 from the magazine. we will be almost to the end, if not the end, of deadlock when that time comes.
to clarify, the manga isn't numbered by volume. It is in chapter form.
