Honestly, I think he always was one. He seemed waayy too okay with being bitten, even biting Mitsu back on the collarbone. And did you see how smoothly Yuito was able to have sex with Mitsu? I think he has experience of some kind.
I agreed but this rating is a bit too strict. I'd go like 3/10 for plot but 6,5/10 for art, so overally like 5,5/10. Ive seen worse stories, and the art doesnt destroy my eyesight, its fine (art is very important for me, even if plot was bombastic, i cant stand bad art)
My problem was that there was no hint at him being a masochist. Some highschool characters in manga have this "I don't care" attitude towards certain things (like the biting/being bitten) although that could have just been bad writing from the author. So yeah, SOME kind of reaction (blushing, shivering, etc. when bitten) even just a minor one would have been enough to work as a hint. But there was none at all so it's quite badly written and/or executed in the final work.
I have 10+ years of experience with manga, so I can see even the smallest hints, but even in the worst manga I have read there was at least some kind of reaction from the masochist/submissive person when someone did/said something sadistic or dominant to them. There was nothing of sorts in this manga, hence my disappointment. Especially since the art is so extremely good.
Yeah, well I tend to be much more strict with manga that have good artworks. I'm the same as you, bad art hurts my eyes whereas good at can make up for a bad story. :'D
But this manga couldn't really save itself with the art (for me personally. It would have needed Akira Norikazu type of artwork...which it's far from having XD).
I have probably too much experience with manga (good ones especially) to give this one a better rating. And I generally give them an overall score, not seperate ones for art, story and characters or such. I'd give it the 5/10 for artwork too tho. I can fully agree on that. ( ouo)b
Ok, it seemed really random that the main character suddenly turned into a masochist (I say turned into, but he was probably supposed to be one from the start...which he wasn't so..). You know, just like *snips finger* that. There was not a single indication for that. Not even a little. wth. X'D
Anyways, good art. Story is indeed 'meh' because of the randomness and the kinda forced "he has a tragic backstory that's why he behaves this way" stuff just to get to the sm sexy times.
I like BDSM/SM plots, but this one is pretty bad based on plot and characters, so I'd definitely not recommend it.
2/3 outta 10, mainly for the art and not fucked-up-ness tho.
