I heavily agree with this. This is one of the reasons why I prefer reading shounen ai over yaoi because shounen ai focuses on the story a lot more and I feel the plots are a lot more interesting although there are times some may be fetishisation of gay people sadly. May I suggest you a manga that's absolutely beautiful and also tackles the problem of homophobia! I don't know if you read it but it's called "Koimonogatari" It's absolutely beautiful :)
I also forgot to mention that the manga takes time to update as the Japanese release comes out every two months and then we have to wait till its translated to English. I definitely recommend it!
awww yes.... i just feel super sad cause i love yaoi so much but the grand part of it it's just full of fetization and almost all the stories are the same, and i'm so tired cause it's rare you find a yaoi manga without the stereotypes of seme and uke, who is the woman of the relationship just because he's more delicated etc etc this things like that in the real world really doesn't happen!!!!!!!1 and at the same time i'm happy too cause
i found this precious manga that really describes the real situation, how it really happens, you know? Oh, and for the first comment thanks for the recommendation, i'm going to search and i'm forward to find other mangas with this theme :')))
You're welcome but trust you guys will love Koimonogatari. It's realistic and the topic of friendship is really well done as well. I also agree with you about the stereotypes because honestly it gets annoying and I really wish BL manga wouldn't be considered fetishisation for women and men but could be appreciated like shoujo manga and have long and interesting storylines like them. Don't get me wrong I don't think shoujo is perfect and there are shoujo s with annoying cliches and often the female characters are shown as week but compared to that they still get good storylines with good plots and brillsint development of different characters. I honestly would love if BL manga could head down that road.

I love it for various reasons. The plot, the story, the art. But the main point is actually because of this comic talks about real gay people problems. Things the LGBT community (specially in asian countries) go throught.
It might sound surprising if not weird but there are few gay characters in yaoi. I'm tired of seeing stories when the MCs are stright but like that ONE guy and then they go throught problems like status or jealousy and never even talk about issues like family, acceptance, society, homophobia. It's frustrating.
That's why I absolutely LOOOVE webcomics ahd this one in special <3 because yaoi mangas tend to work solely on the fetishzation of gay people rather then exploring the great plot available
