Who the heck gropes a dog

you know that 'grope' could be the petting the butt of the dog near the tail. Since our main freaked out when touched there he couldn't see if he was going to do the finger flex of scratching the dog's bottom (the top part). It's not something most people think about doing but there are plenty of videos of dogs and cats loving the butt scratch. The reason it should be suspect is, no one I have ever known as done the butt scratch when laying with the critter
