And it was wrong of the mother to see him not dying in pain would be what I would have to assume you're saying. Since it's obvious that Ye Zi had a really hard childhood, what you said about the father catching up was something that wouldn't surprise me if it did happen in this manga. Ofc I hope it doesn't happen since I love cute Ye Zi just as everyone else, I just hoped that the mother would try to start a new life with Ye Zi^^. Well, I guess since we saw how terrified she was of her husband it would be reasonable of her to want to end it all. I hope I didn't offend you in any way with my comment ^ω^
