IKR- I thought Gensuke knew what he was telling Sougorou, if somewhat vaguely, and that Sougorou had misunderstood and thought Gensuke was only offering friendship. Well, turns out Gensuke is an idiot and meant it that way, and Sougorou understood just fine. Obviously Gensuke is the one who has no idea of what he's really feeling nor what he wants. Hopefully this will wake him up.
I genuinely felt sorry for Sourgorou. I hope he gets his heart broken at least a little bit in return.
