I mean Im not saying that the word bitch doesn't have its place in the world for a lot of other uses. It can be used for comedic effect and a lot of other non serious things or even serious things when it really really actually suits it. But when other groups, especially men, see it being used like people are using it in this comment section thats when it get more insidious. All Im trying to say it for people to be more conscious of how they use it. The way people are throwing it around here is the way that when people see it it justifies subconsciously using it the same way when thinking about women fictional or not. I also think it matters what words you're using in a safe place versus public where it effects how other people think and view things. I'd have ways I'd use the words bitch and cunt that I wouldn't use here or in the environment where I could be misunderstood or use it irresponsibly. I'm no saint, I love my swears especially for exaggerations or comedic uses. I don't really know what do you mean by "really young", but this site is meant for either adults or children over the age 13 WITH PARENTAL CONSENT. If your little girls don't fit into these categories, then they shouldn't even be here and therefore it's not anybody's problem if they stumble upon material that is not suitable for children (comic books about serial killers or maybe even comments where the word bitch is used). If they do have permission - welp, still not my problem. You can't forbid adults from drinking in a nightclub, because a kid could accidentaly walk in and see something inappropriate.

Lets not pretend that the internet is for adults only and that those only enter if you're 18 pop ups mean anything. The internet is changing and of course kids have access to material they're not mature enough to process. If you really understood what I was saying it wasn't to censor swears so kids don't see or learn about cuss words, its to be aware of how we use them and how people see them used. Also to address the other themes in manga, its the same as I explained. When younger people see us react to things thats how they learn. So when we call out abuse as abuse in manga when its not made clear that helps validate the kids using this site to know what abusive behavior is or what rape is and help them understand what is fine to enjoy or read about in fiction should be separated from our attitudes in real life. For example, there are a lot of adults who enjoy rape play or porn like that, but they don't actually rape people and would have zero interest in doing so. Its like knowing the difference between safe bdsm play and flat out abuse. But we're also adults who can model knowing what fiction is and being able to enjoy manga with inappropriate content while separating it from real life. When the people too immature to be using this site but clearly are anyway because theres nothing you can do about it Ive actually seen a lot of adults here step up. I've seen them do it on lots of manga with abuse and rape. A good example is with Killing Stalking. A lot of readers addressed how its fine to enjoy the story as it is without romanticizing or fetishizing whats happening. You can read a story about abuse without condoning abuse. Lots of people reading that manga try to make it clear to the young readers that what they're seeing is manipulation and abuse not just twisted love, for example.

Everyone needs to learn not to throw the word bitch around so casually when talking about girls. Im so tired of it. Its especially cancerous in the comment sections of manga like this. THERE ARE OTHER WORDS TO DESCRIBE GIRLS THAT ARE BEING RUDE OR SELFISH OR ARE COMPLICATED OR BOSSY. Probably more than half of us here are girls too!
