In my opinion, they should be in jail: Sangwoo and Bum. In different ones, because Sangwoo manipulates Bum a lot... Like, when he was thinking "We are dating?" C'MON KID!
If they go to jail the story is over. That's not how it's going to end. At least rn.

I'm honestly not sure anymore if people who ship Sangwoo x Bum only do it because they're delusional.
I also thought this when KS became popular but at this point I think it might be because they didn't read it properly or because they already forgot what happend before.Or maybe it's because they read bad fantranslations during the first season.
In ch. 15-20 Bum's personality changes drastically because of Sangwoo. He broke Bum's will and made the real Bum disappeare. These chapters are extremely important to understand Bum, Sangwoo and the relationship they have but 4 on this site are fantranslations and the most important chapter (ch. 15) is so inaccurate that it's hard to understand characters.
I usually read it on Lezhin but I read ch. 15 here for the first time. All I thought while reading it was "WTF?! Why do they act like this? What's wrong with Sangwoo? That's not the Sangwoo I know". Then I read the official translation and this time it made sense.
Ch. 15 marks the beginning of the end for the real Bum. The Bum who wanted to survive and escape, called himself a prisoner of Sangwoo and also said this about Sangwoo "I hate you with every fiber of my being and I don't even love you, anymore".
This chapter also makes it clear that Sangwoo doesn't want to be healed by Bum. He wants Bum to break and be like him. But the translation uploaded here is so bad that all of this is hard to understand, especially when you read it fast (it's an exciting story after all).
Ch. 20 on the other hand is the best fantranslation. But the translator made the unfortunate decision to go with "I don't care about anything" instead of "I don't feel anything". Sure, she wrote that it can also mean "I feel nothing" but as a side note.
It's easier to understand that this is the moment when the real Bum completely disappeares when he says "I don't feel anything" with an empty stare, instead of "I don't care about anything".
Like after all we've seen how in the world and why do you want sangwoo and bum to end up together?? I'm rooting for the cop 100% cuz it seems like all his life he tried to help people even if it meant putting his career and life on the line but in the end bastards like sangwoo did him dirty, is that what you want? Jesus i know KS is a problematic manhwa since it's about two twisted who are into a toxic relationship and need treatment but why does the fandom need to be toxic too? Even the author doesn't approve of such relationships, this is just fiction but still try being logical instead of fangirling over an abuser ╮(￣▽￣)╭
