nah theres a backbone, but it seems so random because they switched from the present to the past and then theyre gonna have to switch back to present and now they keep doing time skips and its making the stories timeline messy. ill forgive it bc the plot is good though
true, well probably the plot will be better after a couple of chapters but its really confusing from the start like, i can't understand the seme a bit, his actions are random. but i agree, the story of their past is meaningful, its just the present happenings that is confusing
So what happened I'm guessing is that the seme wanted to be with Ye Zi but he started to want to be with others and kind of left Ye Zi..? So it's telling the backstory right now.

this manga is nice and the art is great, the characters are lovable, but the thing is there's no backbone to it. like its so random
