actually 801 means yaoi if you read em in japanese :)
8 - comes from "ya" when the number 8 is read as "YAttsu" (八)
0 - comes from お which litterally reads as O
1 - comes from "i" when the number 1 is read as "Ichi" (いち)

so thats why they make 1st august as yaoi day (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
