I think Aki can be easily misleaded because he thinks Asami and Fei were true lovers in the past.

Feilong didn't fall in love with Asami it was a misunderstanding ! after Fei's father death he was all alone, his brother was a jerk he killed his own father and then fei killed him (by the why Fei never accused asami of his father's death) ...
Asami wanted to help him to become the head of hong kong underground coz fei's father was ill , but Fei was despite his age 23 years he was a real man and didn't fall in asami net ! he didn't became one of asami folowers ! he rebuild the organisation from the zerro and asami lost all the privileges he wanted to acquire as he approached him. Asami made a mistake he brought back fei's biological father but he didn't know that he wanted to kill his son!
I think Fei is not all grouw up psychologically, it's a deep wound he will be healed when he will found his true love.
