That "Confession" Thing

I'm not sure what that "confession" was supposed to be about, but it wasn't about love. And it seemed to represent the worst of the whole "confession" culture. The girl clearly argued that she couldn't understand why Xiao Hang didn't want to go out with her because she had good grades, would be able to keep up with him academically and was pretty too. As if that was all it took. How shallow! And this is after he's already rejected her. So her making a scene at this point is nothing more than emotional blackmail.

Even if she did have a crush on him for the longest time, as someone else rightly pointed out, confessing HER feelings does NOT entitle her to know any of HIS feelings beyond that he doesn't return them. Besides why would Xiao Hang want to tell someone he hasn't really talked to before all HIS romantic hopes and thoughts just because that person confesses to him with the shallowest of motivations?
