Fuji is the jerk. Taichi is in no way a jerk. He is just your average, clueless salary worker. I don't see how anyone can actually see him in any other way than that to tell you the truth. Also, did you miss the panel where Fuji said he liked guys who keep their distance from him so he can chase after them...? His comment to Taichi was OBVIOUSLY deliberate. He is, also obviously, a pretty abusive asshole, so, contrary to what AnimeLaLaLover said below, this is NOT new and refreshing but rather tired and cliched, especially with comments blaming the victim, Taichi.
Ok, so from my pov, Taichi is not a good person. He is selfish, workaholic and REALLY self-centered. But I don't think he can be classified as bad person either. He doesn't hurt or uses people intentionally, he actually feels bad for hurting the feelings of the women he dated and chose to abstain from sex and relationships in order to avoid hurting others. He is just an ordinary dick.
Fuji, on the other hand, is still a mystery to me. I don't know whether he is using Taichi or being used. Or if Taichi's insensitive comments and actions botter him at all. I guess we will have to wait and see whether we should hate Taichi or if they are made for each other. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
