Hoo boy. This series...wowie. I didn't know a manhwa could take me through so many emotions.
I cried a few times reading this. The first one was the hardest. I have a half brother who's mom hates me, and because of that I've had to cut down on how often I visit because of how emotionally draining it was for me. Reading about what a good sister Min Ji was just...it really hit home hard. He's not quite old enough to really understand why I can't be around his mom yet, but just thinking about how he viewed me, through Min Ji's eyes, really affected me. I was so happy that she stayed with him and cared for him so much despite the way they'd been raised.
Other than that though, the rest was a good rollercoaster of emotions unrelated to my own real life situations haha. I'll admit I really didn't care for the "slutty bisexual" trope being used, and I really don't think his girlfriend should've stayed with him. But I was so proud of Min Gyeum for telling him off, that was very satisfying~ It is too bad how much he messed him up though, this poor boy. I hope Chun Sam is able to help him find his self-worth.
Also what is it about series that include vampires/start out with a *cough* blood bank and having some really heavy plots?? What's more is they start out silly and light-hearted and then suddenly spiral into some dark stuff! I'm not complaining, it's just...huh.

It's really Asian drama style. At least Korean and Taiwanese love that. I've always been like "Oh, this is so funny!" but halfway through the show, it turns into drama with characters crying every episode. I've dropped so many shows halfway because of it.

Haha honestly that's my favourite style of storytelling! I'm always happy when I find it, even if it makes me cry haha
