The one who destroyed everything was the WAF and all the other people with their homophobic and racist behavior, not Conor. They made Conor feel inferior, which caused Conor start to project those feelings on to Simon. They were the people who mentally and physically destroyed Conor, which caused the mentally unstable and traumatized Conor to leave. And because Conor was gone, because of all the people who had hurt him, Simon went on a path of revenge.
If it wasn't for all those assholes, everything would have been fine between them.
Woah Simon trully wqs the best thing Conor could ever have yet he destroyed it all, goes to show that Simon loved Conor way more than he did.
