I agree, these two are really in unfortunate circumstance. But because this flashback was told from sawato POV, of course we so into sawato feeling without really know what exactly daiki feeling about this.
That is true... but memories or no memories it doesn't give you the right to hurt someone... but it'll suck if he gets his memories back because in an moment all his effort up til now just went out the window... he should've just stopped at sorry...
It was the fact that he was missing his memories and didnt seem to care that hurt Sawa. Sawa knows what the memeories are; they are special to him. They are something he would never want to disappear, and Daiki does not remember them to know them as being special. He is just happy to be alive, as he stated. Daiki did not intentionally say anything mean or hurtful at all. His thoughts may come off that way because we as readers know the memeories too, so we sympathize with Sawa more then we do with Daiki. As I said before he could have told Sawa he was missing memories from the get and let Sawa figure out how he wanted to approach the situation. Im not saying things couldnt have been handled better. I was just pissed at the hateful comments everyone was throwing Daiki.
So you really think that losing memories gives someone a pass to be a dick? Or did you not actually read the chapter? Because, unfortunately, as it stands now, that DOES seem more likely given how your bypassing the REAL reasons why people hate Daiki. I do want it to be more likely, actually, since anything else is victim-blaming.
Daiki made it seem like he only slept with Sawato because he was horny and wanted to have sex with him. He SHOULD have known that if he had been truthful up front that any misunderstandings they might have had would have been cleared up, INCLUDING the fact that Sawato was in love with him. The fact that he hurt himself is PURELY his own fault.
Finally, he RAPED Sawato the second time around. You CAN blame Daiki for that. Not doing so blames the victim.
I have no problem reconciling hating on Daiki for what he did and hoping that they get together in the end. I think it's actually hypocritical to be anything BUT that way. Seeing as liking a character means accepting all their faults and virtues not ignoring or whitewashing the former and concentrating on the latter.

This is getting tedious...Okay first this post was made before chapter 25 came out and it became obvious that he forced Sawa into a second round. I don't condone rape and after reading the current chaper I am very disappointed in Daiki. You think he would learn after Sawa shed his first tears.
Second, where in chapter 24 was he being a dick? Everything he said was from a mindset of a person who had lost 3 months of memories. He wanted sex with Sawa before he ever feel in love him. He had constantly been flirting with him to get him into bed. So he acted like he only wanted sex? I cant deny that, but how is that didnt from any flirting anime seme. He wanted sex first and love came along later. What makes all of this hard is that Daiki and Sawa are not on the same page anymore. Sawa is effectively 3 months ahead of him and in love with a man that is suppose to remember promises and love him back.
Third, If you read the original post you would already see I said that Daiki should have told Sawa he was missing memories. It would have obviously changed alot of things. Im not saying Daiki doesnt have things to answer for. Especially after the latetest chapter but people were getting all bent out of shape want him to die and what not because he came off uncaring about things that we remembered but he didnt. I didnt think that was fair. If they want to be bent out of shape because this latest chapter, they can go right on ahead as they now have a solid reason to be.
I love Daiki, Character flaws and all. As of currently, he needs his ass kicked and he knows he fucked up. But when it comes to people being in their feelings about chapter 24 and saying he was being a dick, I stand by what I said in my first post.

Everyone is on the fuck Daiki train, and it's him I feel sad for. From the beginning we knew he wanted a piece of Sawa, but with time, a change of heart, and effort he work for Sawa's heart and affection. In one accident he lost all memories of that, but does not know exacty what he lost.
He wakes up memories missing and all of a sudden Sawa who was not receptive to him before is okay with him being intimate. So he has sex with him not knowing how special this moment is so to be for the both of them.
Could the situation have been handle differently? Definitely! Like telling Sawa that he was missing memories instead of keeping that info to himself. At least that would have given Sawa the chance to decide how he wanted to play his part in this endeavor.
But do I hate Daiki and want him to die as some of these other comments read? No. He claims its "only 3 months of memories" because at the end of the day, he has all 10 fingers and all 10 toes. He is up and walking and functioning. I would like to think he is grateful to be alive, and missing "only 3 months of memories" with the chance to possibly get them, then being completely dead or having a full bout of amnesia.
Plus how can he care about important memories when he has lost them. He cant even remember they were important. I feel sorry for Sawa. I do. However I am not about to hate Daiki and say he isnt worth Sawa and all the bullshit because it ain't true.
He was worth Sawa before the accident and he'll be worth Sawa after. This is a hurdle people. Instead of hating him, why don't you wish him good health and luck. At least then, you all won't be hypocrites at the end when you commenting about how they're so cute together and how you all want a Daiki and such. （￣へ￣）
