U got the story correctly I must say.. I was a bit confused about what his dad was so then he was the god of the shrine, then it made sense

Yuzuru and the twins are siblings their father was a god shrine while their mom is a human so basically there was a possibility that one of those three will acquire the "powers" of their dad which is yuzuru.. And yuzuru opened the door of the temple and since then killings started to happen more like pandora's box story BUT Ayato said that their dad was worried about yuzuru so "what if" his dad killed those people (teacher who scolded yuzuru etc) as a form of protecting his child but in a wrong way thats why ayato said he abandoned his godly duties and thus turning into a monster.... Remember when ayato said that their dad was hungry and he cried in corner after eating his son ?before they went there it seems like ayato knows that its possible to happen... Fastforward yuzuru found a new family met takumi but by remembering the past went back to the shrine "to receive ayato and his father" probably saying acquiring their fathers godly powers and was afraid he'll become like his dad so he burned himself but didnt happened and realized that he wasnt human... Takumi and yuzuru died as a human and lived on as a god or a ghost or something hmmm does it kinda make sense or nah ?
