Well the problem is that we are not all americans (or have an american based education). i really can't understand the slang language. But maybe the translator tries to grasp the personality or something. Anyway it is too hard for me.

The reason the translators did that was because in the Japanese version the characters speak in a different dialect. They speak Kansai-ben to be more specific
