I am seriously tired of reading people complaining about cheating, esp those who berate Beriko for writing the series. It's like they are demanding to read a story based on ordinary people. Like come on it was in CHAPTER 1 where we were warned that Yakuza is not for the ordinary. Just stay in non-yakuza stories. I just want to have fruitful conversations about character and plot analysis with readers.
Yes, I agree. It's a yakuza theme story. I'm pretty sure morals out completely out of the window. If they don't like it, they shouldn't read it.
I've read a lot of Yakuza stories, with non- and heavy Yaoi, and their morals are just....which is why a lot of people are scared of them, aren't they?

No the majority of this story takes place in the past. They'll have tons of sex but will not end up together.
Actually, the wife is a thief (she stole the moto) and married a Yakuza thug. So she's no goody-two-shoes, either. These are underworld people. They aren't your nice next-door neighbors. They're gangsters.

I doubt she is good, too. Beriko draws her so well you just know she is strong headed and is also always up to something.
Akitoras wife knows this is happening but she doesn't care. She knows what she got herself into! She married a Yakuza, what does she expect? she marries akitora anyways because she's not so good herself even. She really doesn't need pity, she got everything handled (^ー゜) ( though it is sad that she dies in the future)
Sensei posted a spoiler page on her twitter the other day that contained an interesting little clue about Asami, how there's more to her than the wronged wife so many readers are assuming she is. This isn't a simple story of black-and-white morality, and like you, I wonder at readers who continue to read and complain when it's been clear from page one. If this is going where I think it's going with the wife...well...we'll see.

IKR?! No one is innocent. Probably only Asoda and baby Tatsuyuki, because I cannot say exactly the same for grown-up Yuki and Nogami.
I am also honestly tired of the hate. I mean hating and ranting about how they hate the characters. Like seriously, it's been 5 chapters already plus Yondaime, it's been established that these characters are despicable. All that is left to figure out and discuss is how these characters think. Hating and discussing about morals is supposed to be way passed in the series, but what can we do, that's what they wanna post. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Exactly! i just had a look at chapter six for the first time and she looked so unbothered loool she probably understands her husband so deeply that nothing he does surpries her, ppl think that just because shes the wife that shes cluless as to what goes on in the yukuza lol I bet you anything shes a badass herself (i hope)

*I think she has an agenda. I think she understands her husband's nature very well. We haven't learned anything much about who she is, where she came from, how they met and married. It's very possible she's from another yakuza family and knows that world well enough to understand how to operate within it. In the spoiler, she offers an "alliance" to Rogi (Akitora is sleeping/passed out on the sofa behind her.) But in the corner of the spoiler page, there is a little doodle of a snake "vs" a bunny. Rogi has already been identified with the bunny, so she's the snake. So whatever alliance she may offer could be suspect.
I know I'm probably going to get a lot of hate from this post but I gotta do it.
People, my fellow brethren and sistren, we all knew that this was going to occur. Akitora and Rogi are going to have sex throughout the 5 volumes that are plan for this yaoi. This is Beriko's first long running series, so she is taking things slow and be very detailed (you can tell by her artwork). Guess what, both Akitora and Rogi are terrible people. Akitora was terrible before he started to sleep with Rogi. He's the third head of a major yakuza group...he kills people. You all have read much worst than this. Sure, Asami (Akitora's wife is awesome) doesn't deserve to get cheated on but she knows her husband as she stated in the previous chapter. Either sit and enjoy the ride about Rogi's youth or drop it because the next chapter, they go to the next level...rant over.
