If this two won't end up with each other, I'll lose my mind. Please don't go [hirunaka no ryuusei] on this one, Sensei

I agree with you. I worry about that other guy intruding on her heart. I just don't want to see another ending like Hirunaka no Ryuusei either. If the author goes that way... I will be done with her manga's. I love to see sensei also growing with emotions. I feel these two are teaching each other about how to open up and learn to trust and love. I don't care about the age difference plus sensei looks so young.

I'm worried about Gorou. Looks like he's having some feelings for Fumi. But I don't think that senpai is a threat. He's obviously in love with his Midori-chan and As for Aioi, looks like he's finally making a move to our Tobiume-chan, I'm so happy for them

I love them as a couple plus he is gorgeous. I hope Fumi realizes that she and he are changing due to each other. His manager was right knowing these two needed each other so they can be happy and grow.

I didn't read that one cuz I knew she didn't end up w the guy (an unheard of occurrence cuz the whole point of a story is to tell how the two main characters got together, not apart???) BUT I think we're safe for this one. That senpai is definitely gay and her guy classmate is, thankfully, in love with her best friend. And now that they finally made up, they should be okay... At least until the next misunderstanding ;;;; but I just have a feeling they will be okay in the end!!

I sure hope so or else this was all for nothing, lol

That senpai is not gay, haha. Midori-chan is female and he is in love with her.
Good thing ypu didn't read it, saves you a whole lot of heartache. I mean what's the point of all the sweet moments when you're just gonna end up with the other guy??

If you ask me, in HnR the sensei was too hesitant of the relationship and kept pushing the girl away and then pulling him towards him. Ik she was his student but he was too indecisive and she eventually got tired of the off and on relationship. It's true she could've ended with sensei but it also made sense that she ended up with Mamura. It didn't come out of nowhere. Sensei was always hurting her and Mamura was the one always comforting her. So it made sense it ended the way it did. (At least sensei got his happy ending with his neighbour tho)

This manga however is diff. Akatsuki isnt huritng Fumi. He's actually doing his best for her although he knows he's really awkward and unsociable. And Fumi has low confidence at times but she takes action when she needs to. I don't see why people think this story is going to be like HnR. The characters are different and the story is different. Here, you don't have Fumi being constantly hurt by Akatsuki. I know it's from the same author but it's not like mangaka make all their manga be the same. It's silly to think that every new male character is going to eventually steal Fumi away. Give the story a chance and see how it progresses.

I get what you say but I think you can't blame people for being prejudiced about this, no one wanted another cruel hreartbreak.
I, for one, can't help being worried about guys appearing around Fumi especially that senpai. When he said that he already has someone he likes, that's when I loosened up. Also at the beginning, with Aioi, I can't help feeling worried since they have history and all that and the thing with Gorou also bothers me. It kind of feels like I can't put down my guard in this work

I feel like it would be better to give this time to see how the story develops. There's no evidence that she's going to end up with sensei and there's also no evidence against it. Mangas are like theme park rides. We gotta enjoy the ride while we on it. If we worry to much about how the ride is going to end while we on it, we won't truly enjoy the ride. The HnR ending was forreal one of the greatest surprises in manga history and it was specially hard for the readers that were fans of Shishio, but can you really enjoy this manga to it's fullest if the only thing in your mind is HnR?

On a side note, I don't think HnR was a heartbreak. Although Yosano and Shishio didn't end up together, their relationship didn't turn sour. Even in the future they both thought of each other fondly despite things not having worked out between them. I found it beautiful that they didn't pretend like their relationship didn't happen at all like some couples do and instead they acknowledged the feelings they had for one another. Plus, they both got a happy ending of their own. I thought the story was very inspirational by teaching that sometimes love isn't enough to keep two people together and that that's okay. Even if you can't see them, there are/will be other opportunities in your life. No one regrets the relationship Yosano and Shishio had. Their love was true and from the beginning you knew that they were both meant to meet each other. Sorry I'm such a nerd. HnR is forreal one of my favorite manga.
