Most yaoi writers are female...?

Seriously, that's your problem with this? Not the fact that the guy is being raped? Uh, maybe you should be blaming yourself for having authors write stuff you don't like all the time because they will continue to write rapey themes as long as you demonstrate you like them, which you just did.... Oops?
mayu shinjo specialize in shoujo manga and most of her 'heroines' are well... dumb or cannot say NO in a very firm way. its always NO in a despair or lacking any conviction. okay dumb may be harsh - but the only heroine that has a 50% strong female character is aine from sensual phrase. please dont get me wrong, i like her as a shoujo manga.
when i first saw this - the thing that hit me was the familiarity. hahaha now i know why.
sometimes, - sometimes there are those manga-ka who are so good in writing or creating shoujo and yaoi :
1. YU WATASE ( SHOUJO : Ceres, Celestial Legend ; Fushigi Yûgi The Mysterious Play; Fushigi Yûgi Genbu Kaiden ; Fushigi Yûgi Byakko Ibun | YAOI: Sakura Gari )
2. UKYOU Ayane a.k.a SAKYO Aya is her pen name for her BL/Yaoi manga. (Yokujou Max aka DESIRE CLIMAX; Kuroneko Kareshi no Afurekata series)
3. ENOMOTO Tsubaki (Also known as Nao Doumoto, the name she uses for her non-BL work.)
4. HIGURI You (Gakuen Heaven ; Zeus ; Cantarella)
5. YOSHINAGA Fumi (Antique Bakery ; Ai towa Yoru ni Kizuku Mono ; Solfege)
what they created are not sissy nor pissy uke - but headstrong and not a femine uke that you will think you are reading a shoujo manga.
that's what amazes me.
but mayu-sensei - should have stick to shoujo... if this is how she will create her uke :(
i just read chapter 1 and not again... cause it doesnt feel right.
