It seems to me the author left it open ended for the fans to pick who he ends up choosing lol.
Some would choose the brother, some would choose the lover, but others would choose neither.
Like I said, an open ended finish to leave you to your fantasies. I hate those types the most because it leaves your mind turning until it's an overload @.@
It was the brother he chose, right? The flash back of him remembering Misuki while having sex with the tutor guy could only mean that despite all the brainwashing its Misuki that he will choose.
