How about the father's story which can include his reconciling with his sons?
Don't forget their mother comitted suicide after their father left with a man. It's a tragic issue and reconciliation might be very difficult. It's not like she remarried or something like that.
I think he will never accept his father again, I mean his mom died because his father leaving them for another man ╥﹏╥
