maybe the low scores are from people who rated based on the first few chapters

I just click '23xx voted' to check. Seems like some readers got it wrong about racism on the first few chapters, then rated it 1★ only before dropping, made the rating at first about 8.x only. It has become more & more popular and the rating also become better & better.

I got hooked since the beginning as well. I just don't know how they got it wrong. I remember that many people tried to explain/correct in the Topic sections too.

It isn't low. I think Himeowchama meant to say "underrated" as this level
of qualification it's supposed to be about 9.5 compare to others.
