Done wrong it's nasty slimy like a bowl of slugs. Done right it's nutty or similar to nettles and ferns. I don't know how the flowers taste.
Okra, I think tastes amazing if cooked with lots of onions ,tomatoes, green chillies and lemon juice. Its the best with flat bread really(⌒▽⌒)
It's slimy but if cook right it's actually good.. we add okra in our sour soup dish amd it's just fine ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I like it sauteed. But the very best way I ever had it--the tastiest--was Karahi style. The spices were amazing. Wish that restaurant still was around here. I think the owners were from Bangladesh, but the menu had Indian, Pakistani, etc foods. Loved the okra karahi. I also like fried okra...breaded and fried.
and here I'm wondering how's okra taste be like..never eat it before
