Because the kidnapper aka stalker-kun is actually a good man in heart lol. I think he truly loves her, just wanting to be close to her, so that's why he decided to "kidnap" the girl. And, it seems he too had his own problem, since the flashback shows a hint that he did have plan to kill himself before
