I'm an introvert and then some. Was also bullied too. Massively socially awkward. Like you couldn't tell by my posts (maybe? Idc) but I'm embarrassingly cringe inducing socially awkward. To me this still feels like really bad writing. Forced drama and misunderstandings that could be avoided if these characters actually just answered questions they were asked instead of being all mysterious, vague, and dodging questions. It feels like those shoujo where the guy asks the heroine "do you like him?!" and the answer is a no but instead of saying that she is all teary eyed blushing and answers ehhh? But why would you think that? Ehhh~~~*doesnt answer question, guy gets mad, 50 chapters of drama that would've been avoided if she had just said no*
All introverts aren't the same, everyone has different thresholds of pain, and everyone's thinking is different. I can relate to Junoh alot, because I had assholes around me taking advantage of me being naive. I met good people, I got good friends which changed me alot. I'm still quiet, and socially awkward, that will never change, but I've learned what needs to be said and done has to be said and done. Let's hope Junoh changes in future chapters, I do feel we might see some development, the series is focusing alot on Junoh.
And well true, Soonbo clearly needs to improve her writing skills, mostly with scenes changing ever so often and quickly that we'd have to guess by the backgrounds and panels as to what is going on. The time isn't clear either, the transitioning def needs work. But I still quite love this series despite the current drama blooming left and right.
You guys DO NOT understand an introvert. Bear with me, it's gonna get long, because I've been through similar things so what Junoh is 100% understandable.
Junoh is an introvert, who has been bullied in the past to the point he's has left over scars on his body, he was still somewhat bullied till he became friends with Minoh. Minoh showed him friendship, love and respect, to Junoh all of this is NEW. He's never had friends, let alone someone returning his feelings of love. He is possessive and jealous over sweet people who mean him no harm like Gitae because he wants to keep this happiness he attained to himself.
BUT, he's not able to express himself because he's never really spoken to people before either. PLEASE remember how he was jealous of the teacher, the green haired girl when they got close to Minoh. And now that he knows Changhyun likes Minoh he gets insecure and doesn't want to let Minoh know. JUNOH LOVES MINOH, Jaehee is nothing for Junoh anymore, he went to Jae hee to clear up loose ends and tell Jaehee off because JAEHEE CAME TO HIS HOUSE. How would you feel if your bully came to your house and acted friendly with your family while they bullied and beat you up in secret? Think about that. Junoh likes Minoh from a long time ago. Remember it's been 1 year since Minoh started crushing on Junoh. Junoh's feelings are simple, he's trying his best in HIS way, because he knows no other way.
Junoh feels betrayed by Youjin and when he realizes Youjin was the one who snickered at him with Jaehee when they were younger. And he'd been happy to talk to Youjin just 2 chaps back, remember when Changhyun took Youjin's phone and Junoh stepped in to help Youjin, remember how Junoh thinks to himself he shouldnt have said anything and that he's being just nosy. Go back to read chapter 59 pg 1 if you think im bullshitting you. But then on the staircase he realizes he was probably made fun of all this time by Youjin hence why he started crying. He's HURT by behavior of people around him, he trusts no one because people have bullied him, playing around with his pure feelings hence he just sinks in further and further into his troubles. And he doesn't want to burden Minoh with these dark feelings of his hence why he keeps quiet about Changhyun too, and Changhyun's unrequited feelings.
Yes Junoh should communicate, but it's extremely hard for an introvert to strike up a convo with ANYONE. With all his troubles and the stress accumulating from the jealousy, changhyun, youjin, jaehee, the angry kiss def must have shocked Junoh and he must've helpless as to what he can do because he's trying to resolve it by himself. COZ HE KNOWS NO OTHER WAY. Hence he broke down again and cried. Remember he is a teenager, victim of abuse, with no friends. Who can he take advice from? Stop hating on Junoh, he deserves alot of love and he needs good friends to help guide him in such situations.
