Even if they grew up together Ye Zi never says what he wants that’s y he doesnt know what he wants so he’s letting him go (I think correct me if I’m wrong)
You might be right. But I think it’s quite obvious that Ye Zi wants to stay with him.
So it’s the usual “I’m letting you go for your own sake”. They have grown up together, so he should know what Ye Zi wants!
