I guess seeing the blood made his other personality come out or something like that .........Who knows he might turn out to be a killer ....
Orrr was a surviving victim and the pain/ turned on aspect has something to do with it?
Yup maybe his body was made used to it ......
His friend/boyfriend/whatever else maybe got killed 11 years ago which caused him trauma so he decided to become a cop in order to save others from those feelings. But seeing the dead body made it all come back....
