MC was clearly straight from the begining, I hate the dude for taking advantage of his loneliness to get him by force!! He raped the dude and got away with it, I'm also mad 'cuz MC could've blackmailed him back with him being gay(sadly something some don't want to have revealed) or him being a friggin rapist.
Pro life tip: If you ever get sexually assaulted (to the point of attempt of rape or worse), first things first is going to a hospital NOT THE POLICE, as bad you are feeling that's the first thing you have to do since there will be more proof or "traces" of that being true, and they can actually help you emotionally, then they can call the police. This is mostly better for many countries, you should check though if it is the case were you are, it's better to always be prepared.
