I've started re-reading

I've started re-reading from the beginning and the little subtle clues are all there that Veronica is a fucking psycho. And to think I actually felt sorry for her in one chapter

My favorite early psycho line from her is in Ch 21, when she's talking to herself:
Conor: (apologizes for being gay and therefor can't go out with her)
Veronica: **That's not what I wanted to hear...**

i'm seriously putting my hope for her at the start but come around chapter 60 till recent, she's became something disappointing. *sighs.
yet another female cast in a BL comic made into villain.

she's got hints of crazy from the beginning once you know what to look for, honestly. I'm right there with you on the "evil BL girl" trope, here i don't think "Ronnie's" gender would've mattered in the story too much. You could swap her to male with minimal plot problems I bet, her being a girl just makes it easier to blend in Conor's sexual identity crisis directly.

i am aware, what i mean is i have been clinging to that hope that she'd still turn out neutral if she can't be totally nice but here she go turn full blown yandere and became just any other stereotypical plot device. really disappointed with her.
however, if veronica were to be male, i don't think she'd really stand out against other male villains like gale and hasco. her being female fits more. it does make a difference and contributes to the sexual identity plot line.
