I dunno how exactly straight girl's brain works but even in lesbian relationship, especially when a family is formed, some couple do apply the "mom" and "dad" and sometimes, the label interchanges between them. I really don't know why some are triggered on it but I think a lot of you are wrong in one thing. mom or dad is just a definition and COULD be used regardless of the gender. let me get this across. mom=/=woman dad=/= man. it depends on one's perception. it's you people that are sticking a specific gender to it in the first place and call it some names.
