lol i agree with you, but here's my thoughts on it : (I havent read the raws so idk)
Other mangas usually use rape as a way to hook up the rapist and the victim for a cute love story, but in this manga, i think the author is actually using rape as like a proper characterization technic and shows how much suffering the protag goes through that leads up to a certain act he does later on (the way 13 Reasons Why uses rape to show how bad the protag was treated before she committed suicide) I'm hoping that's the case ^ (in the sense that the author isn't undermining the psychological impacts of rape)
