jaeha really needs to be able to have a talk with his ex-wife and be open to her so he can truly move on. his nightmare imposing eunho with his ex-wife in a nightmare reinforces this. he loved his ex-wife and the divorce left him scarred with these emotions that were never resolved. he's a huge self-blamer in his past relationship so that has ruined his future relationships, which is largely in part to his abusive childhood with a hateful father which led him to be alone and internalize his pain. lack of healthy communication in his family led to him being the same as time went on which was toxic to all his relationships. there also is the reality of the age gap for jaeha and eunho. eunho is a strong man who has grown up well but he wasn't able to grasp the full picture of jaeha's scars which was part of why they broke up. i think after their time apart eunho probably was able to grasp more of what happened

i think in the end they were just not yet on the same page.. but eunho was already all in and kept talking and acting like they were already at a level/stage jaeha was not at all ready for. i 100% do not blame eunho but jaeha didn't communicate to eunho his feelings of unease and anxiety over this and so a bad ending was on the horizon... it's clear jaeha is still so emotionally fragile from everything that happened but his weakness is keeping everything to himself and never telling anyone his feelings. it looks like he originally hooked up/had feelings for his professor, but then the professor showed his true colors and had blackmail sex photos of jaeha. jaeha felt alone and betrayed and met his to be wife, and never came clean with her about his past relationship and she found out after they were married (it looks like jaeha did care about her/love her but didn't tell her anything as he was scared of losing her) she found/ was sent a blackmail picture of him and he didn't explain himself (my guess) / wasn't able to communicate that he loved her, she saved him, etc and so now he's left with this trauma. he proceeds to put up walls emotionally which hurts those around him ie. eunho/ the guy he hooked up with when he was down. it all happened in a short span on time so he was never able to really be open to anyone and let go of the struggles he was having which led to the breakup. looks like time past and eunho did go to grad school...? or did he go to the army? regardless he got even MANLIER AND HOTTER LOOK AT HIS BOD IN THE LATEST CHAPTER. i'm not sure where they are now emotionally and they had sex after reuniting but i don't know what was said... really hope they make it work and talk about EVERYTHING. because jaeha deserves to have someone hear him out and tell him it's okay and eunho deserves an open and honest loving jaeha so fingers crossed...
