All right, I understand that this manga isn't for everyone and I'm not defending the sexual under-age relationship in this manga, but can we please try to remember that pedophilia is the attraction to pre-pubescent children. I know it seems pedantic stating so, but there is a difference.
Well the boy has 11 years old - so he is prepubescent child. Pedophilia isn't just for 6 years old but for every underage kids who cannot understand the meaning of "consent".
Is he 11? I haven't really read the series past the first chapter, but I've read some of the comments about it being based on a light novel and people were saying he was 12 or 14? Pedophilia as I've always understood it - and how it is technically defined is an attraction to prepubescent children https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pedophilia. According to wiki and it's cited source, boys typically begin the process of puberty at age 11. While popular usage of the word has come to include consent within its meaning, by technical definition, there is no mention of consent, which makes sense seeing as age of consent has varied meaning across the world.
In any case, my argument is not about consent as that's rather a whole different animal at play. And while it is a fine line to draw and a rather grey area to speak of, I do believe there is a difference between someone is specifically attracted to children and those who are attracted to adolescents or teenagers.

Yah, I think it's going a bit overboard calling readers pedophiles for enjoying fictional content (especially in this case since the MC seems to have reached puberty already). I think most readers are well aware of more fantastic aspects of BL, and that reading it doesn't necessarily mean people advocate some of its more extreme elements in real life. To be fair though, I do think the manga-ka does toe the line a bit because sometimes he's drawn to look almost childish (imo) in some panels. I'm not really a fan of very young MCs as love interests myself, but any argument or discussion made against the subject matter should be made about the content of the manga and not direct attacks at readers.
