To make a long story short when Jian Yi enters high school his fathers men are going to come to take Jian Yi away for 3 yrs. We already saw them previously attempt to kidnap him but the mom put a stop to it. And because so many people get them confused no the park kidnapping is not it. Just consider Jian Yi the princess peach of 19 Days.
Also I doubt the author is just going to end this without letting us see the dad, his motives, what he does, some drama, etc. At least I will be disappointed if I don't get to see and learn more about him.
