Well the uke who forces himself to the seme is way more better than being raped or being forced to by seme. There seems to be a diff for me. Lol thats why the former uke is more likely favoured for me.

I agree with both bc it’s the same but not really if a tachi forced a Neko it would be extremely painful which I would prefer a Neko forcing a tachi but both can have emotional damage however I believe most people just think about the physical harm (⌒▽⌒) besides.... they always like it no matter who forces who...meh

Well if the seme wouldn't want it then he couldn't even get it up sooo. .. At least that's what I heard from guy friends. Saying that if they really wouldn't want to have sex with someone out of disgust or if they would be frightened then the last thing that would happen was getting a hard on. Which means that they couldn't be raped like that. Whereas raping ukes is pretty much possible... They don't need to get hard to be entered.

It is true but not for all men in their teens tend to have hormonal imbalance and would get erections at slightest contact with their penis whether they want to or not even after puberty some adult men have the same issue just because he had an erection doesn't make it consensual especially if they already said no I don't know what kind of penis ur friends have but even scared men can still get erections if it was handles correctly.

But being in a dangerous situation and feeling threatened is completely different from having hard-ons during random moments like getting hard from seeing an attractive person on the street or accidentally rubbing your genitalia to something (lol). Just like when women are raped, it's possible to tell aftetwards since you tighten up so much from resisting and not being able to relax that you suffer visible damage... Someone doesn't get wet if the fear is greater than sexual urges. The same applies to men who are unwilling or find their partner unattractive. Anyone getting hard when feeling scared, disgusted have some kind of kink I guess? I might be wrong but this is what males I talked to about this told me. But it might depend on the person? Idk...

Well I had experienced it I was on a bus sleeping it was a 4 hour trip I was beside the window and I was hugging my bag and a man sat next to me and didn't think much of it I since I was tired I was deep in sleep I didn't know the person put a bug bag on his lap and covered his body with a big jacket no one seemed it was odd cause its cold 2hours in the trip I woke up with a feeling in my lower half I had and erection from a hand massaging my lower half but that wasn't my concern my concern was a hand was trying to open my zipper I immediately felt sick to my stomach I want to vomit I was shaking but I couldn't move I feared he might attack if I do something or call for attention he was using his left arm to try and open my zipper and the nudging I felt on my left arm was the movement of his right u can guess what he's doing all this time I try to casually brush his hand away I was too frozen in fear yo do anything when I had the courage to stand up and move to a fasther seat I was shakily holding my bag in front of me cause even if I didn't want to I still had the erection he went down first but stopped to look at me I took the courage to look at him he smiled placed ha finger on his lips like a shhh then I looked at his hand which he placed inside the jacket which he wore I saw a pocket knife sticking out he went down and after 1hr I went down looked for a bathroom and vomited like no tomorrow I remembered the guys face he had so much pimples and lumps and bumps and yellow teeth my point is just because we get erection doesn't mean it consensual or pleasurable and you can't compare a vigina to a penis our dicks won't tighten if we get erections and as previously mentioned having erections ain't always pleasurable it sometimes its painful. Though I didn't have erections when I was molested 5 times and yes train molestation does happen just not as severe as they depict in yaoi anyways its a case by case basis you can't conclude that's the general response especially if it hadn't happen to you

I kind of don't care either way. It's a yaoi manga, I'm kind of tired of people shouting rape in both sides. Like, don't read the manga. Yes, I find both is the same but at the same time, I won't shout about rape for both. If I truly want to see it as rape I would not read yaoi mangas anymore, something I think people should learn.

Tired of people whining rape wheether it's from both sides. The only times I would say it's rape when the uke shows serious psychological damage, crying, trauma etc. The yaoi mangas don't usually have these as both sides will usually end up enjoying it. Of course, if it is in the real world, rape is rape as long as there's no consent. But if you want to put this same logic into yaoi then I have to question all you people still reading yaoi when it's so prevalent everywhere.

Why are you supporting the rape culture that you believe is so dominant here? How many times must I see ya'll whine over it while still supporting the 'rape culture' in yaoi? I have to question your mental stability if you want to deem all of it as rape and still continue reading yaoi because even if one book doesn't have rape, they are still supporting rape culture by not condemning their fellow artists. Ya'll here want to cry rape but continue reading yaoi manga for your fetish. Hmmm let's not talk about people's hypocrisy when you can't even see your own.

Omg, that's awful :( So it actually depends on the situation? This answered a lot of questions I had about this topic. It made me see more clearly too. Thanks for your reply.
Oh, and just to make things clear, I never said that a penis can tighten just like a vagina. I only wanted to state that the natural reaction to a situation like this normally results to the person tense up to the point that the body reacts to it in a certain way. For women it's by tightening (rejecting), and for the man to not being able to get hard. (Which also means rejection.) But in mens case I guess it depends on the situation, as you stated. (Maybe the amount of penetration or something?) It's a biological process and as you said I don't have one myself so I shouldn't know. I just tried approaching the matter in a logical way.

I agree completely! People can't seem to abstract from reality.
This is only a form of entertainment and art. Nothing to do with actualy rape. People who whine about it are oversensitive and should have nothing to do with this genre.

because not all yaoi manga has rape. That's why we keep reading. We still read BL in hopes that even after being exposed with such cliche (rape in the guise of love. A love that is so overwhelming, they force the other party to submit to them) for many years, creators would still be more perceptive of what qualifies as rape and whether or not it is intended to be the work's subject of arousal, is inherently critical for logical development, or not . sadly, in this manga, it was that classic cliche still, and which i believe is more alarming than just a blatant display of rape as it brushes off the responsibilities and consequences entailing rape.
Okay. If you're tired of people whining over rape in yaoi then be the mature person andtry to understand they're, we're just expressing our views. Don't you think that's way better than people glorifying rape in yaoi ... or being ignorant about it? I think we need more people to complain about it so more creators can be aware of this insanity. ;)
I get you are sharing your own opinion and I was going to ignore your message but I had to respond when you started to generalize all yaoi as rape and then you went about questioning mental stability. I'm just here to juice out why complaining is necessary in this case, why people do and why we still keep reading. I hope was able to help you understand.

The creators will not care about the comments made on a site dedicated on stealing their creations. What will make them care is if nobody buys their manga. The fact that rape in yaoi is so common means that there is a market for such a thing. Considering rape fantasy is something many women enjoy, it is not strange to have such a demand.

Why people are tired of hearing people cry rape in fiction is because it feels like people who enjoy such fantasy should be ashamed for enjoying it. I think it implies that people cannot tell the difference between fiction and reality. It is the same with people crying violence in games will make you violent.

P.S. This is coming from someone who dislikes rape in yaoi, but I am not gonna let that opinion intrude people who happened to enjoy it. I think everyone knows rape is wrong, so it's just ad nauseam by now.

Of course the creators won't read the comments here, but the most important is that people can express their opinion nonetheless. Nobody should feel ashamed for liking something. A lot of manga that I liked, other people disliked and commented in a harsh way. I did not take it personally. Everyone has their own taste. As someone is free to like/dislike something, comment whatever they want, so it is other people to say "Rape. Really? Again? Come on!".

Well, never mind. We'll estate this is a trashy yaoi manga. I read until the rape scene and its not worth even for a fetiche. A lot of ignorant people here too, maybe they are too young. Rape is rape, no matter if your are man or woman, penetrated or penetrating, and erection is a involuntary function, happens when your bladder is full in the morning, when you are in danger the adrenaline make fleed blood on you penis and get if hard too...etc. Educate yourselves. And being BL not equals fetichized rape, otherwise I wouldnt have have so many of them as my favs.

This brings a new perspective for me. Thank you. Let's see. I, as one of the complainants, never meant to shame those who harbor abusive fetishes in fiction. I myself have taboo fantasies and am lucky to be able to discern the boundaries. As I recognize they're taboo, I've also accepted that a majority will not be pleased and some may be aggressively against them. All I can do is understand and respect their views, and although it's lonely I cannot share them with anyone, at least I know there are still people with their morals in tact. People, being people, will express themselves. Of course those against will shame the glorification of such fetish but I can't take them personally, especially when I know I didn't harm anybody. I believe taking them personally is a sign that the fetishists themselves are confusing their reality.

I can see two types of rape in yaoi. 1 is the obvious rape in which it is often used to invoke arousal and the other is in the guise of fluff, that could be the creator actually aware it's rape and is ok with it, or is unaware and just wants to show the character has so so much feelings to the other that it results to intense acts. What I cannot tolerate the most is the latter as it could subconsciously tell an undiscering reader that such acts are SWEET. O_O

Now to your first statement. Yes, they're Japanese, they're less likely to surf an English website, let alone one that illegally republishes a translated version of their work. Yes, there could be a cultural thing going on, that makes them think a forceful display of affection isn't rape, or if they're aware it is then it could be a tolerated act for them. Who brings these yaoi stories to us, though? The scanners. athis may sound like I'm blaming them but I am not. Hell I'm very grateful for them for bridging these works to us. I'm just pointing out that it isn't the Japanese creators who are in more control of what stories reach us but the scanners. Rape, or rape in the guise of fluff, might be tolerated in Japan but here there are more vocal BL manga fans who are against/sick of it.

But it all boils down to one thing. A person empathic enough should be able to show respect to their loved one. Rape is obviously a selfish act in the side of the rapist. Respect is the core of a good relationship.

I'm not sure if I'm able to express my points properly because my english is very limited.
