I agree with you, though I don’t recall Mitsuru ex always being physically abusive. He was always an insensitive asshole and did a number on Mitsuru mentally. He snapped when he realized he was rejected and became psychotic. Mitsuru self esteem seems to be low, Shougo is good from him. I adore them together and look forward to their bond being stronger.
Yeah I agree, he was only that way after his marriage ended it seems. I think he always thought he'd be able to have Mitsuru whenever and wherever he wanted and whan Mitsuru acted differently it brought out an evil side in the ex. Shougo, ugh he really is an amazing guy, I want someone like him lol
Yup he’s Ex was a selfish asshole, I was so mad when he blame Mitsuru for his marriage failing. No one told him to cheat on his bf while on a trip and get married. He bought all of the drama upon himself. Idk how he expected Mitsuru to react, he had the audacity to become a stalker? He became delusional... Yes Shougo is one of a kind, so sweet and understanding, we all need someone like him.
He thought so little of Mitsuru that he didn't even tell him he was getting married, just wanted to string him along and keep him on the side. Thank God Shougo came along and saved him.
Sigh... he just Assumed Mitsuru would accept anything because he loved him but there’s a such thing as having enough and falling out of love. I agree, I’m glad he fell for Shougo and that Shougo really loves him

I think with Mitsuru pretty much hitting rock bottom, he realized how amazing Shougo's love for him, is. I only wish Mitsuru had, had the strength to leave that abusive jerk on his own. It is hard when you are in an abusive relationship, you lose your self worth, your ego is stripped bare so I can see why Mitsuru couldn't find the strength to leave. The important thing is that Shougo took him back and their love will be even stronger now
