Do you mean by Takaya getting a girlfriend? Had Touma confessed years ago, he would have had his crush sooner, you cannot blame that on Takaya. As soon as he found out, he dumped his GF and went after Touma.

Yeah, but you don't know Takaya would have felt the same back when they were kids. I don't think he would have said it was gross, but the way he thinks, he might have been to immature to act on it. You never know.
I'm happy for the ending, but still Takaya isn't my most fave character from the story. I'm like that with a lot of manga with the same theme.
