Servants not acting like actual servants...

I kinda dislike how the two servants act like Makoto is just a tool for them. They don't really listen to him much, they do whatever they want, and they decide what they think is best for him all the time. I wish Makoto started acting a little more like a master as well. As he lets those two walk over him every single time. >_<

Not really walk over him...more like let loose.

They decide for him all the time. With the dragon also binding the spider to him, with all of their followers and the dwarves also joining in that separate space, with going through his memories whether he likes it or not, now with not telling him about what happened. And there were I few more of those cases I believe. So yea, I'd say they walk all over him.

Sure they have the best intentions with him in mind, but that doesn't change what it is.

Also, I should explain in a bit more detail and say that I don't dislike the concept as a whole. But pretty much every other world manga with slaves/servants has their relationship like this.

Why not ? it't more interesting than " oh yes make ur slave and fuck me ! "
They'r also not rude like most of the strong female characters who start hiting the mc and humilate him
They dont act like servants i agree but they still respact him

They SAY they respect him, but their actions speak louder than words. Yes, this is better than a slave just going "oh master f*ck me!" or something like that. But there's a middle ground you know? It doesn't have to be either black or white. The world exists in shades of grey, so there are plenty of 'middle ground' options. Though that would take actual thought and work to create the characters on the author's behalf.

I think Makoto has just never been good with aggressive/strong women. That and he's kind of naive and a pushover thanks to his family. Besides it's hard to say no to a person in earnest.

Firstly, it's really not that hard to say no to a person in earnest. I've done it plenty of times.

Secondly, having servants but then having them walk all over him kinda defeats the whole point of a 'servant'. In other words, storywise there's literally no reason for them to be servants (under magical contract no less) apart from it being a cliché manga trope.
