So this far into the story, we know Soo Won isn't a bad dude at all and its driving me insannnee. Why? So look, Soo Won's father was a barbarian, but for the sake of her people, Kouren's now willing to put that aside. Yona's the same, Soo Won killed her father, but little by little, though she will never forgive the action, she realizes it was necessary for change. Both Soo Won and Yona, together, are reforming the kingdom. BUT Yona, also knows, it is her ultimate duty to dethrone Soo Won and take her rightful place, regardless of whether she forgives him or not. Now, the question remains, will Soo Won put up a real fight, or just fight until he lets Hak strike him down? Because that thought's killing me. He sacrifices his first love, his own happiness, and his own life to changing his country, and will die wishing Yona and Hak happiness...

WHY MUST YOU FUCK EVERYONE UP SOO WON THERE ARE OTHER WAYS OF DOING THINGS THEN MAKING EVERYONE BOTH LOVE AND HATE YOU

I'm not sure that Yona still want to dethrone SooWon and take the place I think she could work with him like an ambassador to be more close to people

Right after she confessed to him, he killed her father and then tried to kill or imprison her. I don't think they'll be able to work together :(

You say that, but they've been working together a lot especially in these newer chapters.

Not willingly, its all convenient. Thier objectives just happen to mix together somehow, like if su won decided to take a violent approach they'd be fighting eachother

But so far the author already depicts that Soo Won would not take such extreme approach unless necessary like the case with Ill so it is very unlikely that it will come to such an outcome.

What I just said was hypothetical. My main point is that Yona herself would avoid working with the man that trampled on her feeling in the worst way, by killing her only family left. I know shes forgiving and all that, but when someone you confess to kills your dad working together with has the lowest chance possible.

She doesn't have to forgive him to work with him but they both want peace and prosperity so it's in their both interest to work together. If I remember I think she said that she no longer wants to take revenge and Zoo Won said that he regrets what he had to make to maintain the peace and that he hopes that she would be happy with Hake.

Unfortunately that doesn't persuade me to think differently. Its just I find I hard to believe the story would take a twist to where she works with her fathers killer. I admit this story isn't about revenge but, I personally think they'll kill Su won off because his sin can't go unpunished.

This debate hurts my heart lol I say revenge should be at play but also lets just not definitively kill him off~

Not really because of sympathy, but it feels too predictable ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Yeah thats the good part about this manga too, you can't necessarily predict how it will end like every other yaoi I've read. I personally like Su won but something's bound to happen to him because of the mistake he's made
