I love you?

So... I guess Yura and I were the only ones thrown off by that sudden confession?
I'm sorry
As much as I love Kaji and wanted them to get together
This was a bit too abrupt for me
If he had said, "I like you" or "I'm attracted to you" or "I want to date you", It would be easier for me to believe.
Love is such a strong word...
They've met and spoken to each other a few times...
Sure it was plain as day that they were attracted to each other
But "love"?
Sorry, I just don't buy it.
I guess I wanted a slightly better paced story progression

They have spent more time together than it seems in the story so far, and Kaji said he's been watching Yura silently for a long time. When you feel you truly love someone, you know it.
Kaji has been watching Yura in pain for the longest time and couldn't bear watching silently anymore. That's why he finally decided to say something (when the manga starts). They spent time together here and there, and by the moment his ex said those horrible things to him, Kaji's feelings of love and wanting to protect him took over.

    I absolutely believe it.

Watching someone for a while and wanting to protect them doesn't necessarily mean you love them.
But okay, if you believe him, and that's clearly what the mangaka wants the readers to believe.
I'm just stating that I'm not so easily convinced

Yeah I had the same thought. Just another chapter or two to see their love progress before the confession and sex would have been nice.
