I presume the main point here is that it could potentially hurt someone. Observing this manga and ones similar to this one causes your brain to see child rape and molestation as 'not as dangerous'. Just to put my two cents in, this is more porn than it is entertainment. And oftentimes porn is depraved because that makes it hotter. Take for example, Pornhub. The most popular tag on that site is incest, but just because a bunch of people are jacking it to that kind of fucked up shit doesn't mean that they'll actually go out and do it themselves. I'm a good example because I would never have sex with anyone in my family, the thought is revolting. But yes, I do jack off to incest porn. It would take a very messed up person to actually do things like rape or incest. And if they're already messed up, then porn isn't really going to be a big factor in their decisions. I guess my point is, this is hot because it's messed up. We know what makes it hot, therefore we know it's messed up. It isn't desensitizing us to child rape because we are fully aware of how wrong it is the whole time we are reading it. If this took a romantic turn, then you'd have cause for concern. I find that a major problem within the yaoi community is that they too often look the other way, or even worse, think that it is okay when a character is raped! To take rape from being a fetish to being something romantic is what's really messed up because that's where the lines start to blur and people start thinking it's okay.
i’ve been reading yaoi with rape that leads to love for years now and i like it. BUT, i am disgusted by rape in real life and do not think that it is ok at all. like you said, yaoi would not have a big enough effect on people to change their morals, or on an already messed up person. no lines are blurred for me, and i dont think they are for others who like that trope either.
