Yes, yes its possible, but you have to do a lot for it to reach that limit (i think for males only), recently there was news about this guy who had sex with his newlywed wife multiple times a day for a quite some time (i think a few months, can't remember) straight and after that he got extremely ill and stuff, went to the doc to check, he fucked too much, until the age of his body was equivalent to a 70+ year olds', and his life span shortened alot. His wife wants to divorce him now （￣へ￣）

Second of all, OF COURSE the man would have problems. He was essentially straining his body to the max for 100 days straight. You would damage your body if you did ANYTHING that much. Sex is not the cause of injury - overstraining the body for 100 days on end is the cause.
As far as the manga goes, they were two healthy, young men. There is absolutely no way they could die from having sex all night unless they were both drinking too much, taking drugs and/or both had serious heart issues.
