Is Edwin mind controlling Kyon? It's suspicious he ended up on thin ice without noticing how he got there. Maybe Edwin is trying to use Kyon kamikaze style and take both Kyon and Lucaon out at the same time (knowing Lucaon will protect Kyon if something happens). Or maybe he's just trying to get rid of Kyon at this point...or maybe not, and he was really looking for the knife. Either way, it's suspicious.

Oh yea I just went back to reread it and Kyon didn’t even have memory of getting on the ice in the first place.... I’m dreading what’s about to come

No it wasn't mind control. Kyon went to the lake to look for the knife, he just meant in his looking that he didn't realize he ended up that far on the lake because he was so intent in finding the knife that he didn't pay attention to where he was going.

Hm what if it was Ryan trying to get rid of Kyon. I mean we all know that he suggested killing him at one point.

Yea maybe you’re right... but it IS odd that’s he just “didn’t notice” where he was headed because he was so lost in thought... Like wouldn’t you be able to notice you were walking on ice instead of solid ground given the slipperiness and texture??? idk it still seems really suspicious if you ask me. i’m just really nervous for my babies ahh

lol, true. But I have walked into walls staring down looking for something XD. If the pond is covered in snow it's can hard to tell the differance between covered ground or ice, I think. I am right along with you on the nervous part, because this story got way tense!
